Ya Chung was established in 1948.In its early year, it specialized in producing and selling a variety of chemical materials. At that time, we made our greatest contributions to new light industries in Taiwan, such as metal surface treatment and plastics processing. Since Ya Chung has always been based on a philosophy of honest, practical management, we became firmly rooted and provided enthusiastic service. Within a few years, we had made some achievements and had laid the foundations of today’s Ya Chung.

With the development of Taiwan’s industry and the flow of international trade, Ya Chung was reorganized into “Ya Chung Industrial Co., Ltd.” in 1963. We expanded equipments, reconstructed our work shops, reinforced market R&D, cultivated professional personnel, managed & developed foreign representation rights, imported excellent chemical materials and offered the best service to domestic customers.

To found alternate bases outside of Taiwan, we set up “Ya Thai Chemical Co., Ltd.” in Thailand, “Powerlight Hardware Polishing Materials Factory”, “YST Surface Technology Co., Ltd.” and “Dong Da Buffing Wheel Company Ltd.” in China. These four affiliate companies help Ya Chung improve local service to a great extent, resolving problems of market survey, materials supply, law & regulations interpretation, language communication and after-sale service, and meanwhile creating a second heyday of Taiwan’s metal surface treatment industry.

The establishment of an enterprise is focused on constant management and continuous growth. Plain style, professional knowledge and ardent service are the means to attain this ideal. Through 40 years’ effort, we have today’s achievement. Building on today’s foundation, Ya Chung will devote more efforts to R&D. Meanwhile, we will move toward developing our own company and gaining more agents. The final goal is to provide customers with high quality products and enhance their production efficiency on the basis of professionalism.
