Product Features
- FASCAT 4100 catalyst is a solid, hydrolytically stable
catalyst that is active at low loadings.
- FASCAT 4100 catalyst is used primarily to catalyze esterification
and polycondensation reactions at temperature between 210
and 240℃.
- FASCAT 4100 catalyst begins to solubilize in carboxylic
acid at 80℃ during the reaction and becomes incorporated
into the final product without affecting the quality of
the product.
- FASCAT 4100 catalyst can be used at temperatures up to
250℃
- FASCAT 4100 catalyst is neutral and non-corrosive.

FASCAT 9100 catalyst is the FDA grade of FASCAT 4100 that
satisfies 21 CFR 175.300, 21 CFR 177.2420, and 21 CFR 175.105.
Recommended Uses
- FASCAT 4100 catalyst is used in the synthesis of saturated
polyester resins for powder coatings and coil coatings.
- FASCAT 4100 catalyst is used in the production of unsaturated
polyester resins for gel-coat, sheet molding, and cast
molding applications.
- FASCAT 4100 catalyst is used to produce polymeric plasticizers.
Packaging
FASCAT 4100 catalyst is available in 44 lb(20kg) pails and
220 lb(100kg) drums.
